About me

I am James Quinn; Consultant in Clinical Hypnotherapy and traditional and Karuna master/teacher of Reiki. I first discovered my ability as a healer over 20 years ago as a by product of meditation. At the time, I had a very good awareness of spiritual energy (in fact at times it felt more real than my physical body). It seemed a natural thing to me to use this energy to help other people instead of keeping it just for myself. I had no intention at the time, of becoming a healer but I simply found myself in situations where I was able to help with problems like headaches and migraines which I cured. I didn't really do anything with this ability for many years but finally decided I needed to develop and understand it and so came to Reiki in the year 2000.

In the past 7 years I have been training in shaolin gong fu, chi gong, Indian Head Massage, hypnotherapy and have gone on to qualify as a Reiki Master / Teacher and Clinical Hypnotherapist.

I remember my first Reiki master telling me before my attunement that Reiki would change my life. Having practised meditation for many years and had some very profound spiritual experiences I was very sceptical. However, the attunements themselves were incredibly beautiful and powerful and through succesive Reiki practise I found that something had changed: certain negative thought patterns seemed simply to have been removed and the healing itself was different and more focused. It seems that when we make the necesary effort; and I really had reached the point where I could't put off learning Reiki any longer, life doesn't allow us to stagnate or stay where we are but allows and helps us to evolve. Since that time, Reiki has brought me some beautiful and sometimes surprising experiences, and it is always a joy to witness this gift that Dr Usui has brought to us.

Treatments are currently available in North Finchley, Edmonton and Harley street.

Courses are running regularly in West Finchley, London
